I stopped by for the first time today, Saturday afternoon. (They accept walk-ins.) The woman at the front desk was super friendly, and even the dog greeted me when I walked in. I met Jonny, who shook my hand and introduced himself as I sat in his chair. He talked with me for a bit and asked what I was looking for. I told him, “Just make me look handsome.” He gave out a friendly laugh and confidently said, “No problem. I got you,” then got to work, giving me a great casual, stylish haircut and a beard trim.

The place has a welcoming vibe, and the staff is really friendly. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! 5 stars.

Stylist: As I mentioned, the barber was John. He’s a friendly guy and gets right to the point. He asked what I was looking for, and I told him to just make me look handsome. Without hesitation, he confidently started styling my haircut, which I really appreciated. I came in for a haircut and left with more confidence in my look and style. His proficiency in cutting hair is unmatched, providing me with one of the finest cuts I’ve ever had.

For questions outside of Omar’s linguistic comfort zone, John is always on hand to provide advice and tips about haircare. His expertise and readiness to help contribute significantly to the overall customer experience.

True to any barbershop’s essence, the banter is as casual and vibrant as any I’ve encountered, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. It’s easy to feel like part of the family at Flippers.

On my subsequent visits, Omar has continued to excel in his services. To top off the superior haircut, he provided a Turkish massage and even cracked my neck – a first for me! The best advice I can give is to relax and let it happen. You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on the world.

I can’t believe this place has been here for three years and we have never seen it. I walked in with my brother and they took him right in. It is such a great environment. Definitely gives old school vibes with the music and how the gentlemen dress. They take their time to give you the perfect cut without rushing like most places. Flipper’s is by far the greatest barber shop I have ever been to. Johnny and his mother have a great business going. Always incredibly kind, respectful and professional. They have the sweetest dog ever, Dustie. Johnny does an amazing job doing just about anything with your hair. The barbers that he hires to work with him are equally skilled and professional, as well as friendly. These people were the first friends I made when moving to the area, and the first friends I told when I got engaged. I personally promise you will never leave their unhappy or disappointed. You’ll leave with a fresh, clean cut, and a smile on your face!

Wow, this place is the bomb! Took my 3 boys after work for a before school haircut. I had just begged a cranky hairdresser at a different place for an appointment. My 13-year-old son really wanted a Barber. So, I called Flippers and Johnny was so accommodating and friendly that I canceled the other appointment (Prices were exactly the same). This place has an amazing vibe, professional and stylish and a haven for dudes of all ages. My kids loved the sweet doggy that greeted and hung out with us.  Each Barber introduced himself and shook my hand and the boys. Absolutely amazing experience. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have gone here due to my Barber not being able to get me into a chair before I need a cut so I had Flipper’s as a back-up. Unfortunately, my Barber decided to move out of New York which is great for him and I’m super happy for him but bad for me lol. So, I went to Flipper’s today due to my brother-in-law going there to get a haircut and decided to get one myself. I called and set-up an appointment for 6:00 pm. I was super stoked they were able to get me into a chair pretty much last minute. They were so great & professional that they normally close at 7:00 pm but didn’t rush through my cut and took their time so they actually didn’t stop cutting hair (mine specifically) until around 7:30 pm. It made me feel like I wasn’t a burden on top of the actual haircut being phenomenal work. I’m super happy with the final result plus the cut got the approval from my Wife who gives the final thumbs up for every haircut I get and for her she gave it 2 thumbs up. For some reason I want to say the gentleman who cut my hair, his name is Ryan (I think, I am so bad with names that I could be wrong lol) either way though, I will be going to Flipper’s for now on with any future haircuts I get. I highly recommend going to Flipper’s which is a clean, professional, and welcoming environment for anyone looking for a perfect haircut. My young nephew goes here and has a hard time sitting still but their patience is unmatched when it comes to kid’s haircuts.
